Dance drama “The Dream of Maritime Silk Road” centers on the plot of two generations of a sailor family in Southern Fujian chasing their dreams to sail to west Asia. It reproduces a prosperous picture of maritime silk road in southern China which started from CiTong Harbor of Quanzhou, Fujian province 800 years ago. nThe dance drama demonstrates a distinctive Minnan culture as well as the conditions and customs of the local people of different countries and regions along the maritime silk road.
